This candle was crafted specially for Mary's Place, an organization that believes that no one's child should sleep outside, and we couldn't agree more. This fragrance is a blend of herbs, lavender, and aromatic woods. This clean scent summons an apothecary atmosphere, and lemon and lime add sparkle to the heart of fresh herbs and white flowers to create the fragrance signature in this botanical creation, as a crisp aldehydic accent amplifies the freshness. Aged oak and velvet moss are blended with soft musk to envelop the scent with sunny warmth. This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils including cedarwood, clove, and lavandin.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Mary's Place provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness.
Since 1999, Mary’s Place has helped hundreds of women and families move out of homelessness into more stable situations. Across five emergency family shelters in King County, we keep struggling families together, inside, and safe when they have no place else to go, providing resources, housing and employment services, community, and hope.
Each day, Housing Specialists work with families to address barriers and empower parents to build family stability, secure housing, and prepare for employment. Kids are connected with schools, participate in fun and enriching activities, and go on outings and adventures in Kids Club. In the evening, families in shelter eat dinner, do homework, socialize, and prepare for the week ahead.
Children with life threatening illnesses should not be living in cars and tents awaiting chemo or dialysis. Families who have lost everything in the struggle to get their child well have a place to receive care and support in shelter at Mary's Place Popsicle Place shelter program.
